Cocke County Recreation Department

It is my pleasure as the Director of the Cocke County Recreation Department to have served the great people of Cocke County since 2007 and hopefully this will continue for many more years to come.

The Recreation Department serves our community in a capacity that allows our young people to express themselves through sports. We offer programs in youth basketball, adult basketball and little league softball and baseball.

It’s been our Departments mission to improve and grow young people through sports activities. Sports is a great way to teach kids characteristic that will help them throughout their life time.

Team sports is a good learning experience that improves accountability, dedication, leadership and discipline. It is also good for physical exercise which helps your mind, body and spirit. Putting this all together by playing sports is a winning combination.
